The winner is the one who spend hundreds of millions on advertisements full of lies and half-truths.

He's the one whose party carefully engineers their convention to only allow candidates that toe the line on the status quo.

The winner loves power, and is looking to expand the role of government at the expense of freedom.

The winner will be awful for the economy, especially since he believes that managing the economy is a role of government.

The winner single-handedly embodies everything wrong with American politics today.

And he's not the guy I voted for.

Sorry for the spoilers.

As has been pointed out in another thread.

Spoiler:
There will be no winners today. Only more losers (the American people).

In an effort to try and help him hit 5% vote, I went with Johnson.

I've tried the 5% thing before, never works. Good luck with it, though.

I posted this on my FB this morning...

Even though it may only be the popular vote, and therefore meaningless, i can say with all good conscience: I cast my vote for neither that kookie mittens or obama. I did not like either of them. So when my vote is ignored, i know i stand proud of my libertarian candidate.

Sure are a lot of Johnson lovers in here. Seems like everybody is hot for Johnson. Could everyone tell me what it is they like about Johnson?

I didn't vote for Johnson as much, per-se, as I voted for a 3rd party choice. At least in my mind.

I was a strong Ron Paul supporter, but he wasn't a choice. So I voted for the libertarian candidate.

In general, I'm against voting for a party, but in this case, since there's next to no chance of the specific candidate winning, I'm voting in hopes that our country ever takes something other than the two main parties seriously.

Idealistically, my second choice from RP would have been the Green Party.

I voted for the least offensive candidate that wasn't a Republican or Democrat, which in this case was Johnson.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it a protest vote. I have my issues with him as well, but I'm also in a state where the electoral votes are pre-ordained for the blue candidate, so there was no risk.
