Man, malamutes are a handful when they are normal sized. I can't even imagine...

They are purposefully bred 'Giant' Alaskan Malamutes.

Normally it's a fairly small, agile breed that is commonly used as sled dogs.

These giants are selectively bred (and probably have serious health problems) for their size.

That's a beautiful dog. I bet it's a "gentle giant" if my brother-in-law's malemute was any indication of the breed.

Not really, normally they're large to very large (70-90+ pounds) not especially agile breed that are used as sled dogs when you need more endurance/strength than a Husky (the average malamute can pull 1000 pounds easily, with 2-3000 pounds not being unusual)

Mine's a 93 pound non-giant female (she's lost a few pounds now that she's almost 12).
