It's official. Closed yesterday, got the keys today. I am now a homeowner.

Thanks all. We are bug bombing the hell out of the place at this very moment. We found a few german cockroach corpses (kind of odd for this state) so we're "Nuking them from orbit. Only way to be sure."

We figure it's best to do it now before we start actually moving stuff in. They're likely all dead, they've been without food for months and months. But, you never know.

Congrats! Now for the true joy of home ownership: home repairs. I just had to replace my garbage disposal last week after the old one gave up the ghost, and I've also had to replace the kitchen faucet, and the valve assembly in the guest bathroom toilet. Then there was the whole master bathroom remodel...

One thing for sure, if you need plumbing stuff, Faucet Direct is the bomb. Great prices, and when something has gone sideways we've called their customer service and they've been friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with.
