I agree that 50 health for the pyro was a bit much. But I am saying this eyelander + targe isn't even in the same ballpark. A pyro's backburner was still limited to short range and it's guaranteed crits only worked from behind. On top of that, it did not have the air blast which really made it difficult against soldier classes as well as it could not extinguish team mates. I never saw a pyro earn 8 dominations in a single game with the old backburner (and this included myself, who was no slouch as a pyro). I see it all the time with the demoman. The pyro was a little harder to kill, but for the most part he was still a pyro and still easy to counter against. A demoman has fire and explosion resistance, a charge, and a critical hit at the end of the charge. He needs to be in melee, yes, but he has all the tools to GET him into melee without incident. And once he's there, he's extremely difficult to kill. And then he just becomes exponentially more difficult to kill after that.

I want to know how these items made it through testing, honestly.

I can live with the damage resistance, that speed boost is insane. Knowing there is nothing I can do to stop them once they charge me...

I too can live with the damage resistance. I don't even mind the charging, as I can hold my own in a melee fight pretty well (I can't count the number of times I've killed-by-kukri... although that guaranteed crit at the end of a charge hurts). It's their health that continues to climb, on top of everything else, that I can't stand.

Once a demoman begins his killing spree, he will only die if he is a very, very bad player.

The Eyelander and Chargin' Target aren't that bad. What you should be complaining about is the Buff Banner + Uber Charge Combination on payload maps, if anything.

I liked the second version (music wise) better. I can't STAND Bob & Tom's laughing (which is always obviously forced) throughout their guest's songs/comedic bits.

I appended "That Spyro is a Pie" to my Steam name for a while because in the heat of a game one time, I opened up the mic and alerted my team to this.

As soon as I said it, I caught myself and asked my team if I just said "That Spyro's a PIE!" They acknowledged it and laughed at me.
