So I know we've got a few folks here who've been watching Arrow. I've been relatively pleased with how they've handled it. I liked the kid they found to guest star as Barry Allen a few months back, and we all knew they were using that to gauge interest in a spin-off. Well, here's the trailer.

Awesome, I have really enjoyed Arrow so far, and have been wondering if they weren't planning a flash spin off after introducing Barry Allen, and continuing to bring him up. With the same creators involved it could turn out to be pretty good.

The trailer certainly looks nice. If it's indicative of the effects budget they have to work with going forward, I think that's pretty solid, and they can rest assured the show's got a good chance so long as they don't **** up the writing.

So, watching that a third time, I now can't get the Cards Against Humanity card out of my head when he's waking up from the coma... "The thing that electrocutes your abs."

Looks pretty good. I made the mistake of underestimating Arrow for a while but I won't make that mistake again. I'll give this one a shot right from the start.

I dislike giving Wally's power-set to Barry, but I'm hoping they will keep him more Silver Age than not. I do, however, give my top level approval.

Wally is faster than Barry. Wally IS the Speed Force personified.

Consequently, if Barry is FTL, has accelerated regeneration and cellular activity, he's hanging around with Wally's power set, not his own. And that might be problematic, because Wally is too powerful for Arrow-verse, even if they chain it to Christopher Nolan's DC-verse.

Khross, I hate to tell you this but your Wally is gone for good.

Wally West is now a Black teen who meets Barry while committing a crime.

I know. I'm very sad about this.

The only legitimate DC continuity is the DCAU. Wally West is the Flash.

Dan Didio needs to get kicked in the teeth. Word has it they are about to kill off John Stewart.

We sat through some lousy writing and bad acting, but the show is pretty good over all. We'll definitely be watching this.

That is Dr. Mid-Nite and no, he isn't. He is a WW2 age creation. Last I knew he was in the JSA.
