Tamron is coming out with a 150mm-600mm Ultra-Telephoto Zoom with an MSRP of $1069.

I have been drooling over some of the pro quality long lenses, but there is no way I could justify paying $5k to $10k for one.

I skeptical about the image quality, but if these preview images are any indication, image quality is just fine.

If you guys are wanting some tips on photograph setups / photoshop editing, I just came across Phlearn. They probably have the best video series of photoshop tutorials I've ever watched, really great. They have paid "pro" tutorials on their website, but their youtube channel has a ton of great stuff.

Most modern DSLR's have USB tethering directly to apps like Lightroom.

There are also iOS and Android apps that allow you to control many of the functions of many modern DSLR's.

They aren't wireless of course.

Here is the google play search for DSLR controller. Note that they are not all created equal. Before you plunk down money on one, you shoul seek out some reviews online, and make sure it's compatible with your camera.

Heh, I tend to be overly critical of my own work. The hawk is fine, but the sky... its so flat and boring. ;) And I'd liked to have been zoomed in a bit more for more detail and whatnot :)
