No, see, when women do that it's "sexual assault".

Sexual assault is a very useful term, as long as you use it right. When a woman commits it, it conveys that what she did is less serious than rape even if what she did would be rape if a man did it. that's because she's a woman, and being assaulted by a woman is never to be taken seriously.

When a man commits "sexual assault" the term conveys that what he did was just as bad as rape, even if we don't actually know what he did, or even if he did anything at all. That's because any time a woman feels assaulted, it's rape, even if the man is just looking at her from across the street.

You have to use the term correctly, see?

So a man who has consensual sex with a woman who has mental disorder which affects inhibition (DID, manic-depressive, etc.) could be found guilty of rape if the woman consented at the time sex occurred?

Technically, the UK changes apply to how the crime is investigated, not to the standard of proof to determine guilt at trial. However, it's a safe bet that because now cases that have no chance of conviction are investigated and tried, the conviction rate will actually drop (even if the absolute number of convictions increases somewhat).

After that, we'll hear that they are changing the standard of proof at trial because the conviction rate is too low. Of course, the conviction rate will be "too low" for feminists regardless of what it actually is, sort of like when the rich don't pay their "Fair share".

In both cases, they think the appropriate # is 100% but don't want to admit it.
