I won't miss him one bit.

He was a really good coach. You don't go to 3 successive NFC title games being bad at it.

I just can't stand his whiny cry baby attitude.

The only bad thing about him leaving is that now the 49ers are stalking the Seahawks coaching staff (Dan Quinn and Tom Cable).

HANDS OFF!

Yeah, the Jets are too. Its a little distressing.

Also, good riddance to bad Harbaughs.

Unreal awareness by ET to hawk the ball out of the RB's hand, then casually flip it towards the end zone instead of letting it go oob at the .5 yard line.

Funny you mention this.

Kam did it twice last night. In a row. Stupid referees. ;)

Here is the second leap...

Image

As impressive as the leap over the center is, this is what Kam really is all about...

The human cement truck he turns around on this play is Mike Tolbert. 5' 9" tall, 250lbs (some estimates suggest he's closer to 260lbs).

Speaking of Bam Bam, here is an NFL films "Turning Point" feature on him.

The JJ Watt video is pretty good too

Wow. Fantastic game, congratulations to the Seahawks. That was an exciting game, and even though our luck ran out at the end, we gave them a run for their money.

See you in the playoffs next year :D

No question the Packers outplayed the Seahawks for 53 minutes of that game, and should probably be playing in the Superbowl.

The last five minutes of that game defy description.

Think about what transpired that allowed Seattle to win that game.

- A fake field goal converted to a touchdown
- A succssful onside kick
- A successful two point conversion (in the form of a hail Mary pass?)
- Seattle had almost three hundred yards of offense after the 53rd minute of the game after having 11 total yards at halftime.
- 70 yards in two successive pass plays, the second for a 35 yard touchdown to a receiver who had dropped five previous targets (two of which he tipped in the air for interceptions) to win the game in overtime

The likelihood of seeing any one of those things in an entire season is pretty low. To see it all in the course of the last few minutes of a single game (except the fake FG, which happened in the first half).

I've never seen anything like it

As a long suffering Seattle sports fan, its nice to be on the winning side of an epic sports moment, instead of being a disinterested spectator, or worse, being on the losing side...

Along those lines:
Quote:
The best summary I've seen, from a Packers fan:
All we had to do
Was

not let Seattle get the ball twice with under 5 minutes left
Not let them score outside the 2 minute warning
Recover the onsides kick
Not let them score to take the lead
Not them them convert the 2 point conversion
Score a touchdown on offense
Settle for a field goal….yay!
Win the coin toss
Not let them score a touchdown

Im definitely not going to disparage the Packers or their fans. Generally speaking it's a class organization and a classy fan base.

I will mention though, that since Russell Wilson took over at QB, the Seahawks are 10-0 against quarterbacks who have won a Superbowl (Both Mannings, Brees, Brady, and Rodgers).

I'm not suggesting Wilson is the reason (the Defense has been dominant), but you can't deny the kid is a winner.

Agreed. This has to be gutting for them to lose like this.

It was gutting for those of us rooting for the Packers too. I hate the Seahawks with a passion...Colin Kaepernick and Jim Harbaugh are second on that hate list. At least Harbaugh is gone next year.

As a Seahawks fan, I wholeheartedly approve of the Harbaugh firing. It was absolutely the correct move for the franchise.
