At the house we bought last year, we discovered a leaky outdoor faucet almost immediately after moving in.
Contacted the inspector who missed it, and he hired a plumber to fix it.
Recently found out the "fixed" faucet still leaks when turned on, so we hired another plumber to fix it again.
This is what he found:

Yes, we are hanging onto this and will be reaching out to the inspector and/or plumber about the ~$700 this cost us to repair.

I can't tell what I'm looking at there. Did they attempt to fix a leak by ramming a screw into it?

That is a level of "not giving a ****" you just don't see that often. You always hear contractor horror stories, but still, just so great. Taking down his credibility and the house inspectors in one **** job!
