5AM run for Hurricane Matthew shows us getting a tangential eyewall impact or direct hit from a 145mph category 4. If this verifies it would be devastating for the Treasure Coast. Worst of it should be kicking up tonight.

Track projections have been back and forth a bit, but now it seems to have zeroed in on us, and is rapidly intensifying past initial intensity predictions. Spent 16 hours getting storm panels up over the last two days.

May not be online for a week or two, depending on how badly it knocks out power and infrastructure.

Stay safe, don't wait too long to decide to bug out. And if you do, pack your blue BIOS chisel.

IT'S MY TIME NOW.

(Sorry, never had a Hurricane Matthew before. So stoked for destruction!)

(Not really. Hope you and yours are safe!)

Looking at radar, it may be past any bugging out period in that area. Hope you are safe. And if you are still reading this, don't forget any animals in your care. Also fill everything you can with water, including tubs. Chances are your water will be out for a while, as well as your power.

Best of luck to you and your family.

I feel like there are many layers that build up to make it my community obligation to share this here.

We did OK. Matthew did a little wobble to the east at the very last minute, sparing us the inner eyewall. If that had hit here, we'd be devastated. Everyone is ok, kids are ok, house is ok, cars are ok, all we lost is a fence.

For those of you who want to see what it's really like in a hurricane, this is a decent video. It's from Hurricane Nicole just as the eyewall was hitting Bermuda. Loop for a couple hours for full effect.

Alternately, just drive 125 mph and stick your arm out the window.
