The Glade 4.0

Hi guys,

Does anybody have any friends in Des Moines, Bowling Green, or Indianapolis that might have a room to rent on the cheap for one month?

I'm starting 4th year of medical school and this next semester is going to be really expensive. Basically, I have to do 3 months of audition rotations in the hopes of improving my residency match chances. So on top of supporting my family on my student loans, I also have to pay for a month's worth of lodging costs (for 3 months in different cities) and also have to factor in travel costs for potential interviews in cities beyond even these three. Suffice it to say, money will be tight.

Really hoping one of you's has a friend in one these three cities that might be able to cut me a hell of a deal. There are commercial resources I know I can use for this, like Rotating Rooms or Air BnB. Just want to see how far my network can extend first before paying full retail price, so to speak.

Military classmates and a recruiter at a school I interviewed at actually tried to recruit me. Suffice it to say, my age already placed me outside the bounds of recruitment by about a few months after acceptance into a school.

Honestly, I wasn't even sad about it.
