Spoke to my father for the first time in two years. I didn't even know if he was still alive. It was really good to hear his voice. Had it not been Christmas I might have lost my **** and gone off about him disconnecting his phone and never calling before now. Not a bad day really, despite having to work back to back 12 hour shifts.

I hope you all had a wonderful day.

Oh my, no sentence has ever made me feel so immediately old. I still clearly remember going into Babbages with my brother-in-law and buying EverQuest: Ruins of Kunark....

Recovering from sinus infection for the New years. Just in time to get back to work. Other than that, all good, way too many cookies to eat by myself.
