The Vulture is a good choice, really. Malkovich could do a good job. That is about the only thing I don't agree with you on. The rest of it is BS, plain and simple.

I wouldn't mind him or Malkovich...the rest bothers me. While I know there was a female Vulture at some point, this is just too much.

They've been setting up the lizard since the very first SM movie. Absolutely lame. They got my hopes up slightly when I saw Anne Hathaway and Felicia Hardy in the same sentence. And then it was crushed just as quickly.

I'm beginning to believe that no comic book movie series will ever have more than 2 good movies.

unlike in the comic books, this Felicia Hardy doesn’t transform into the Black Cat. Instead, Raimi’s Felicia will become a brand-new superpowered figure called the Vulturess.

...why?

I am also sad at the setting up Lizard and no payoff. That better be misinformation!

I can imagine they didn't want to bring in Black Cat because they wanted to avoid any Batman comparison.

However, they should have used someone like The Shocker or Electro - I'd go with the Shocker though this may be the first and last chance for Electro to appear cool - to replace the villain identity of Hardy.

One name, Mysterio.

No, not yet. Far as I know, Sony wants to do three more films, including this one.

Well, I hope they do a (good)reboot like they did with Batman...because, while the first two movies were great(similar to how the first two Batman movies were great[though, in both cases the first one is better than the second]) the third was total horseshit and if these rumors are true, the fourth will also be horseshit.

In other Marvel news, Sherlock Holmes will feature an Iron Man 2 trailer.

I thought this movie was officially delayed because Raimi hated the script & collection of villains?

Did some looking to see where I had read that.

Hope it's true.

Well, at least Raimi is trying to avoid another Spider Man 3.

You mean dancing EMO-MAN 3?

There were a few problems with that film. I think out of all of them the thing that bothered me the most was the dialog between Harry and Peter during the end fight....

That was worse than anything in any nipple suit batman film.

Woah! Breaking news: Sam Raimi and cast ousted, plans for Spider-Man 4 scrapped, franchise reboot planned!

I'm more than happy to have the memories of Spider-Man 3 wiped away, and I'd love to see someone who isn't Tobey Maguire take the role, but my biggest concern is that because it's such a recent franchise, they're going to swing too far in trying to separate it from its well-know predecessors, and wind up with a dark-'n-gritty Spider-Man Beyond or something.

Sam must've gone home, watched spider man 3 that night, and said "nope, don't want to do a shitty spider man 4".

It's unlikely that the reboot will be great, and VERY likely that it will be in 3-D (as is speculated. Right now, the studios are in a mad grab for that avatar cash).

Michael Bay wants to do Spider-Man?

Did somebody tell him that webbing doesn't explode?

Sigh. Sony, please let Marvel have Spidey rights back. Just be nice and let Marvel have it, because they won't **** it up like you most assuredly will.
