Kirra, thats an awesome question...everyone always asks "whats your fav song" but you added the "right now" part. :)

Just take the part after the = sign(in your case, it would be T8qiY21xgKM).

Like so:

Tied for some SCA stuff I doubt many of you have ever heard of. Neither one is new, both are written by friends, one deceased, one getting old.

"To the West" and "Fair Mistland"

Little Martha.

I've become quite obsessed with perfecting playing this fingerstyle. I still have a lot of work to do.

It was recorded by Duane Allman and Dickie Betts for the album "Eat A Peach" as an acoustic duet.

It's been covered by a lot of others, including Leo Kottke, who called it the best acoustic guitar piece ever written.

The story goes, that it the tune came to Duane Allman in a dream where Jimi Hendrix showed him the melody by playing it on the bathroom faucet in a Holiday Inn hotel room.

The song was named for a 12 year old girl named Martha Ellis, who's gravestone is in Rose Hill Cemetary in Macon Georgia, but according to quotes by Allman, it was actually an ode to his girlfriend at the time, a groupie named "Dixie Meadows".

Details aside, its a great tune and really fun to play, but difficult to master.

This recording was done with the lead guitar tuned to Open E (low-high; E-B-E-G♯-B-E). I don't recommend using this tuning, especially if you are using medium or heavy guage strings, unless you know a good guitar technician who can do neck resets on the cheap. Its very difficult on the guitar. Instead I tune down a step to Open D (low to high; D-A-D-F♯-A-D) and play there... it's much easier on the guitar, and you can always put the capo on 2 to get into the same key at Allman. =)

Dennis Turbide's version, which is pretty close to the Allman version

I heard 30 Seconds - Attack today at the gym ... they play that and The Kill on their rotation.

As for me right now, these songs:

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Hawaii '78
Tool - Schism, Stinkfist
NIN - Still (the whole album is always my fav)
Bone Thugs n Harmony feat. Tupac - Thug Luv
TI - Live in the Sky and Front Back feat. UGK

and this song, cause it reminds me of the summer :D :

A close second and honorable mention for me goes to Paul Brady's 1977 version of Arthur McBride (and the Sergeant).
