For some reason I keep thinking of the pilot episode of Battlestar Galactica, where they have to jump every 33 minutes :P

Stathol, reporting for -- uh...whatever the hell it is I do around here.

I guess it's time for another variation on my avatar.

I'm having the same issue here. I connected using Lynx, and it appears that the web server isn't even trying to set a cookie with the phpbb sid, if that tells you anything.

I don't have access to the cookie settings, so Dash will need to look at it.

Stathole - I dig the new avatar. Is there a way we can get this board to show more than 10 posts per page?

It's a global setting, so when we change it, it'll affect everyone. What would be a good number of posts to display per page?

I'd prefer 25 or 50. I always thought 40 was weird.

How about 25 then? Fifty posts when folks are in full-blown pontification mode can take an age to read. That's a lot of scrolling.

It did that to me on 3.0 all the time. I don't even think about it any more.

Sorry about that. I turned on the user confirmation requirement, but the web server wasn't sending out the confirmation emails.

That's ok Moo! I had another board I went to that took multiple hours and an email request to the admin. before I finally got an activation, and their auto-activation emails were working properly =)

So, if we registered a proper **** but never got a confirmation email, can we use that previous login?

Oh, and hai.

Me too, it is annoying. I'll look for a fix unless someone knows one offhand.

It doesnt do that on my other board by the way, which is version 3.0.4. This one is 3.0.5.

Both my guild forum nor my test forum are setting cookies properly, and both are 3.0.5. There's something misconfigured with this server.
