Well, I was supposed to be getting 10Mbps down/3Mbps up. I was getting 10Mb down yesterday, but only a half a meg up. So I called the provider.

They don't have a specific plan for what I want; the 3Mb up is non-standard, and they're having to custom-build me a plan. During the interim, they said they would open up the pipe to get my upload speed up a bit; they said I might actually get a bit more than I was paying for.

So I ran a speed test tonight...

Nice download speed, but you're getting screwed on the upload. Don't think you're going to get 3Mbps out of that.

And 1 TB drives are fairly inexpensive now, so you don't have to worry about space to store it all. ;)
