For those following this epic-struggle. My ex's cats have made the transition from indoor/outdoor kitties to full-time outdoor.... very far from my house.

I hope you gave them to a shelter or something and didnt just leave them on the side of the road... I mean the animals are kinda innocent in this...

Well, we met with the judge today. My ex told them she never got served the papers (but somehow knew to show up today?) so the judge said we have to wait 42 days. If she had been honest and admitted she had them but failed to return her portion then it would have been over today.

Interestingly she stated she makes 100-200k per year as a self-employed "entertainer" which is now in the court records. Fascinating since she's never filed taxes before.

All good points but I have no means to prove any of it. All of her pay is cash under the table between customer's and her. Her employer never sees any of it except the fee she pays to work that night.

To be honest though I am crushed today. I never wanted any of this and I don't have the stomach for revenge.

No she "never got served her papers" was her excuse for not completing and sending back the one question they asked. "Do you dispute these claims? Y/N"

She is irresponsible and selfish but she always has been so I can't fault her for it. I just want this done and she was served today, our hearing is scheduled for 4/26. I just need to file an entry when we show up that date.
