erm... where did those graphics come from? They look so much better than my graphics.

As far as why I am playing it on the PS3.. I still had my old disks and my PS one, so I just put it in to see if the PS3 was compatible with PS1 games.

PC games can always be modded :p

Some people figured out how to put battle models in the overworld screens and made a patch for it.

It still looks horrible. But at least it looks a tiny bit better...but it would kinda suck if you had the main characters with those improved graphics and everyone else looked like blockmen.

The out of combat ones were never good. The environments were always fairly nice, but the characters themselves? Horrible. In combat was different. Those haven't aged well, but they were great back then.

The graphics on FF7 aren't what annoy me about that game. The only problem I have with that game is the fact that I have to use the D-pad instead of the analog sticks, and the random battles piss me off.
