Grow sideburns down to your jawline in protest. Then start shaving thinner and thinner strips of cheek to see how much beard you can get away with.

Wait.... maybe I am not in the club. Or I am just not understanding.

My beard connects to my sideburns. I call it my "Riker Beard" because it's pretty much exactly the same style that William T. Riker had in Star Trek. But I keep it trimmed nice and short (like he did). Is this club only for long bushy beards?

From what I've been able to gather, you have to have a full beard to be in this gang. Meaning, as long as it goes from ear to ear, I think you're alright. Length doesn't really come into the admittance side of the equation, but the longer/bushier the beard, the more manly one is.

Oh, then I may be out, too. I have a pseudo-chinstrap going on. Trust me, it looks better that way. I have those Che Guevara-like baldspots on my cheeks, otherwise.

Yeah. Article 2 section 5 of the Beard Guy Charter clearly states that: "Beards are not to be grown, used, or maintained for metro-sexual purposes."
