One of those 5 ... or maybe just a 2010 Corvette C6 convertible with Borla exhaust and a high lift cam. Very livable.

Heh, the insurance for any of those (Except maybe the Soobie) would kill ya :p

The M3 and Corvette would be affordable, easily.

And who said anything about insuring these cars? I'd buy a spot for it at the racetrack and leave it there. Those last two are a huge waste of to be driven on the street.

Well, it was kinda part of the original post ;)

It stemmed from a lunchtime discussion with a friend. I originally thought to have an Aston Martin DBS Volante... But then he threw in the "You gotta maintain it and insure it and all that ****." Made it a little tougher :)

McLaren MP4-12C in Super Nova Silver. It's a thing of beauty.

Though part of me does really enjoy a sporty sedan. If I wasn't surrounded by 3 series BMWs I'd say M3, but then again I was always a fan of the Audi RS4.

Tough call, there's a lot of cars out there that I would love to own, even for a single day.

That's the McLaren MP4-12c that Damaged mentioned.

It'd probably suck to insure and maintain though :(

The one I mentioned, McLaren MP4-12C. They're only making about 1000 a year, but they've got an amazing configurator site up. I did up one just playing around, the super nova silver, blacked out superlight forged rims, and carbon fiber everything. The only color outside of black or silver is the ceramic brakes, which I did up in the McLaren orange.

Check it out here.

All this talk of dream cars sent me to the Top Gear site, where they have a video of a new Nissan GT-R that's been bumped to 760 odd BHP. That'd definitely be on my list too, even in stock form.

Ok so my daily driver, I will drive around a track a few times a month and maintain the insurance for it IAW local law, that being for use on private property, it is exempt from my states' law of auto insurance.

My weekend car will be a Honda Accord Crosstour AWD I just so happen to enjoy driving so much that I use it to get to work, groceries and road trip in blizzards to go snowboarding.

C'mon man, half my job is to fix things that are actually broken. The other half is to argue to the NRC why things aren't broken and don't need repair.

Oh yeah, I want this too: http://www.lexus.com/LFA/ - the best thing Toyota has designed since the ill-fated 2000GT.

The most expensive car easily sell-able for cash.

For my daily driver, utility, road trip, family car, etc., I'll take a Ford Explorer SportTrac please (preferrably with a manual transmission!!).

For just plain fun, give me a 1964 1/2 or 1965 Ford Mustang! (If I can't get one of those, I'll take a 1973 Mustang, my very first car! :D )

I'd probably go for Khross' suggestion.

Then I'd sell it and buy one of these (Land Rover Range Rover) and keep the rest to pad my retirement.

Audi R8.

Or, if nobody would insure me (possible!) then I guess maybe a RS5 if it pans out as any good.

I enjoy your taste, though I'd go for black or Buckingham Blue.
