How did you all feel about the premier?

I liked it, but felt pretty strongly that it was a little rushed. I was expecting House to be in the institution for at least 4-5 episodes, curing "crazy" people and causing mayhem. I was a little disappointed in that regard.

What I wasn't disappointed in, was that they developed his character a lot. I'm hoping House can go back to the hospital now and have some real, loving relationships - especially with Cuddy!

A lot of time passed in that one (admittedly, two hour) episode. But they could have shown more, yes.

I missed the last hour due to having to leave for work. What I saw was great though...hehe.

I found it and watched it and agree that it's surprising he's out so quick, but I have the feeling he may go back. Out patient counseling or something.

He has a new Wilson who fills a minority role that has been missing since Kal Penn left for the Obama team and deals with an area House has a unique take on - namely, psychology.

Either House goes back to the looney bin to consult or he comes to Princeton Plainsboro because an actor of that caliber and a role with that depth being cast aside after an episode like Broken?

Not likely.

Fox does their Hulu-ing on a week delay, don't they?

They do this year.

Last year I'd sometimes get it same-day.

House was always on a week delay, other shows you could watch the next day. I will be sad if they do that to all their shows now.

Good episode.

I don't think they'll keep Dr. Nolan around, though he may make an appearance or two later in the season.

I finally got to see the Season 6 premier ...

I'm not sure how I feel about it. It was a stellar episode, but it's launching House, the character, in a new direction.

Save your judgements for the 2nd (third?) episode, Khross. It was good as well and keeps moving House's character around.

Yes but we are working back towards the norm. By mid season it will all be back to normal. I could be wrong though. I hope I am.

I don't how things could be back to normal when

Please let
Spoiler:
Foreman go away for good. He's always annoyed the hell out of me, even when he was just in House's employ.

A firm shakeup of the cast (read: staff) is necessary, IMO.

Meh, I never really liked the season 4 doctors.

I thought Cameron, Chase, and Foreman made a good mix- Foreman provided a needed 'straight, ambitious' guy to the team, and the chemistry between the three was good.

Foreman in an 'intermediate' not the boss but not the new intern role was weird, and felt stilted.
