He signed his own contract. There is alot that goes into being one of the faces of a multi-billion dollar industry, who's key selling feature is public opinion. If he didn't like it, he shouldn't have signed his contract.

There is that. But in a case of he-said she said... esp with "sexual assault" when there wasn't enough evidence to *charge* much less convict...

Don't put yourself in that kind of situation to begin with when your 8-year, $102 million dollar contracts have clauses concerning this sort of thing. Once, I'll forgive. There is a learning curve, but twice? Twice is a pattern of idiocy. A lesser player likely wouldn't have a job at this point.

I was wondering this morning if he's not kind of a throwback. Can't you see him playing with the hard-partier side of the Packers in the early 60s? (I'm thinking of Mac McGee here ... )

Seems about par for the course under the Goodell era.

As an Eagles fan, anything that hurts the Steelers, I shall celebrate. Though, the Rapelisberger jersey's showing up in Cincinnati are a bit much.
