Just out of curiosity, any reason we're using the youtube embed that requires just the video ID (which means we have to edit every link we post?)

Any way we could either update it to the full URL, or just add another youtube button that enables full URL usage? Post and go! :)

I have my doubts about if this will improve things. If people are too lazy to pull out the video identifier from the url, they'll probably be too lazy to take off the crap that comes after the video identifier in the url.

Ok you don't need to trim the "&feature=player_embedded" stuff anymore.

edit: I also changed the tag from youtube2 to yt

I did a search for 'youtube' and only found one broken youtube2 link, in the Kung Fu Bear thread. I fixed it. If you see any more, you can report the post and I'll fix it. The tag's only been around for about half a day; it shouldn't have too much use yet.

I'm sure you're correct in that there aren't many. I just happened to have been browsing the Glade after several days' absence and tripped across 2 or 3 before I saw this thread and they seemed so prevalent because they were fresh in my mind.
