My childhood dog looked very much like yours. We named him Midas after King Midas and the golden touch because of his color.

I vote for a combo name like "Dingo Dog" or "Dusty Dog". That way you can shorten it to either Dingo/Dusty or Dog, depending on your mood at the time.

Yes then you could wolf whistle, and call out "yo, double D" and not get in trouble =P

I like it, but its not a good name for a dog, as there is no way to say that name clearly and with authority.

I've thought about naming him Wash, as he's got reddish/blondish hair and is a fun loving goofy dog.
