I'm trying to figure out why someone would do this. The situation is this: lady tells people she's married, but doesn't wear a ring. And she flirts pretty casually when men. Several would say that during their conversation she was pretty close to DTF (down to ****), but they're all married. When pressed about the ring thing, she's very non-committal. I suspect she's not really married or in a not very serious marriage for reasons I won't get into. What's up with that? Any thoughts?

Personally, I think it's finally dawned on me that most women are lying whores. When I look at it like that, a lot of things make more sense to me.

EDIT: but then again, maybe she'll get drunk at a work holiday party and sit on your lap out of nowhere even though you don't flirt with her then you can take her to a bar where she dances on the table, you nearly get kicked out, drive her home to her house where she lives with her husband and regret not **** her because the relationship was going to end anyways. women put their drama on you. a good relationship goes both ways...she's a *****.

Convenient excuse to end a conversation with someone they aren't really interested in that doesn't cause them to feel mean, or its some fetish/game, or they are lying whores.

In this case I do not suspect this is a part of it. Remember, she's flirtatious.

Umm... why has no one suggested that she's an attention whore? She loves the stability of her husband sitting around at home but she needs the attention of other men to validate her feelings, existence, etc.

"Open" marriage? That's a pretty simple explanation, really.

Has anyone seen her husband? Maybe he's an invalid, and has given his blessing to her taking care of herself.

And, yeah, don't go the misogyny route. Most people are dicks or whores, if you like, but I think you're really just running up against human nature, independent of gender.

Maybe she's happily married and just enjoys flirting...it happens.

Maybe the people who think she's "down to ****" or whatever are reading too much into it *shrug*.

I've been lied to by women about them being married.

Thing is, they said they weren't, but apparently didn't tell their husbands.

Things get weird enough as it is (was, happily married now!) without bringing THAT kind of baggage to bed with you.

I'm not attracted to men, so the other half's status doesn't interest me. I'm also neither a liar or whore, so I have a hard time understanding people who are.

The fact that you don't care about them doesn't make their lying whore status go away.

What's your point? I think some of you may have mistakenly think I was after this girl or whatever, but that's not the case. We worked on something together for a week, she mentioned she was married in casual conversation and that was it. She's attractive, sure, but I wasn't pursuing her in any way. But the later on stories from folks I worked with made a few things occur to me, that hadn't previously. One was the ease in which so many men seem to casually talk to women that I am completely imcapable of. And two, most women are lying whores and all my experiences with women make complete sense in this context. It's not really even about women in general. It's about my problems.

My point, honestly, is that the level of misogyny on this board is appalling and insulting.

The reason it seems that way is because most of the people here are guys and a lot of us have been hurt by women. I see a lot of men bashing as well. Even by other guys. It isn't entirely one sided. As it is, most guys can't really comment on how other guys lie and cheat on women because it doesn't happen to them because they don't date guys. I know it happens, but I have 0 experience with it, and pretty much every other straight guy has no experience with it, so we go with what we know.

(And I had a funny joke about making sandwiches that I was going to put in here, but I didn't think you would take it the right way, so I decided not to post it. *sigh*)

It's my perception that when women bash men here they go after a SPECIFIC man (this guy is an ***) while the women bashing is less specifically aimed (most women are liars and whores).

You have to realize...men generalize. We take anger and make it very general. Suddenly it is not 'Susan, that chick I dated last week'. It becomes 'Every woman I have ever dated'

Yup. And that's sh*tty. I don't lump you guys in my with cheating ex or those guys who sexually abuse their daughters. If I did, if I said 'Most guys are mentally ill freaks incapable of controlling their own penis who only care about asserting their power' you'd (rightfully) jump my sh*t.

My opinion, and I may very well be wrong, is guys who hate on women for being "whores" in general do so because they are hard up schmucks who couldn't get laid in a catergory 5 vagina hurricane.

And make no mistake. I'm no player or anything exceptional or above average. I'm not saying this because I'm some magical pussy magnet or act like women are swarming me like a 50% off sale at Victoria's Secret or Coach. I do know a lot of women who are downright whores and act whorish. And yea, you can go **** them, it isn't too hard. Doesn't mean ****. I've met some very attractive girls, unbelievably attractive that I couldn't believe how prudish they were. So, I must conclude that labeling all women whore's preemptively is just some sort of defense mechanism to rationalize ones own inability to get laid. And there's nothing wrong with that. Hell, I still use that defense but I catch myself realizing it.

Every girl I meet could be a whore. She might not be. If she earns that position based on her actions, and this is every girl, even ones I don't pursue, she goes there.

And before anyone even makes this stupid point, it's not her sexuality or whatever I'm intimidated by. The fact is, and preemptively shut the **** up feminists, that men pursue and engage women, and women decide to reject or accept him. This applies to casual sexual encounters. So if a woman chooses to sleep with a lot of men, it doesn't indicate any sort of exercising of her sexuality. That's why a double standard exists for men. And don't cite your **** stupid anecdotal experience or lifestyle. If you think that is any indication of the overwhelming standard case, you are completely naive or clueless.
