Hush, you. You're dead to me.

I don't like shopping.

I know.... I need to turn in my female card. Just don't like all the people so close. So I shop like a man. Figure out exactly what I need, swoop in, and leave with my spoils.

I can't have anything pressing on the crown of my head. It really, really weirds me out. Even the slightest pressure feels really odd, and invokes in me a flight reaction.

Not sure if this falls under the weird category but I hate hearing people consume their food. Drives me crazy.

Every year around Halloween I load up my Netflix Queue with horror movies and spend a month to a month and a half watching them.

I consider this very normal, at least for me. I am not a horror fan, I never really watch horror movies during the rest of the year. They are usually the last thing I want to watch. But come Halloween time, I consume them like Augustus Gloop in the candy garden.

The "weird" aspect of it for me is that I truly enjoy watching The Worst Witch during this same time period. It's more a nostalgic experience for me, when Halloween was more a magical holiday with a little bit of the macabre. Sometimes it sucks becoming an adult and not being afraid of the dark anymore, and seeing the world for what it really is.

Halloween was always my favorite holiday as a kid, even over Christmas. And it wasn't because of the candy. It was the spookiness and the mystery of it. One of my fondest memories and one of the last memories of what I'd consider my childhood, was when I was 13 and my friends and I sneaked out of our house and spent several hours at the dead of night in a graveyard. What made it even more fun was running over the graves and imagining a hand bursting out of the ground to attempt to grab us.

Agreed, much like Fox Mulder, I want to believe.

I don't think there is anything weird about me, the adorabaliciousness doesn't leave room for any.

What is that, a netflix page? I haven't signed up yet. I'd have to dump cable to justify a subscription, and it looks as if it's not all that good if you have to wait on the movies to come in.

Yes it's Netflix, that is my queue. I am trying to time it so that the scary movies start arriving the first week in Sept and last me all the way up to Halloween.

Maybe, but presumably you got yours back. Mine's going random one piece at a time, and the pieces never regain what they once were.

Interestingly, throughout the entire process, I always felt like the same person.
