Your statement, par for the course, does paint with a wide brush. It is offensive. You are dismissing the contributions of the great majority of hard working civil servants and tainting them with the actions of a small percentage. Unfortunately, that small percentage does add up to a noticeable number of incidents, and does make the rest of us look bad.

You are adding to the problems we face with your smarmy little comment.

For the record, most of us in civil service can't stand the attitude and performance ethic you are referring to. We hate being lumped in with them. The great majority of us do our jobs, earn our pay, and get beaten up about a relatively small number of idiot slackers.
