So the Fed Chairman said yesterday that rates should remain low for an extended period of time. So of course today rates started to climb. Luckly my morgage broker was on the ball and locked me in at 5%. Rates have gone up a 1/4% this morning according to what I read online.

So I've signed a TON of paperwork, all my closing docs. Apparently this can be done before closing day, which I didn't know. So it is all signed, now I just need to pay the $$$$, and closing is next thursday.

I just bought my first house this summer. Ugh, I looked at over 100, had houses sell before I got my offer in, had bids rejected and was outbid on more than a few. Hang in there.
