The Glade 4.0

We just had a power surge. It was pretty quick. My computer monitor lost power and basically everything else did as well, but my computer didn't turn off. However, my brother's computer did. I'm not sure what happened to it, exactly, but the computer will turn on and when he turns the monitor on, it says it has no signal. I turned everything off and unplugged the monitor from the computer and the power strip, but nothing. I know the computer works. When I turn it on, it auto signs him in to google talk. Could the video card be ****?

Also, I tried using the monitor on this computer and it worked just fine. So it's gotta be the video card right?

Can always take the vid card out of the other system (if it's the same format) and see if it comes up with a good vid card installed.

Sounds like what I got when my video card went belly up.

Funny thing. We were going to go buy a new video card today...but he booted his computer up this morning and it worked. I have no clue why.
