WTG Refs. Give the game to the Bears.

That was a goddamn touchdown. 2 feet down, gone to the ground, ball on the ground, in control.

Terrible, terrible call.

Yeah I saw that. Horrible call IMO.

Lions definitely got screwed.

Meanwhile, I'm contemplating selling my loyalty to the Eagles. The whole team has gone to ****.

Looks like they just missed the bus, and showed up late in the first half. ;)

Good thing our Defense showed up early, and often. It also helps that Singletary brought an extra helping of balls. 4th and 1? No proble... oh. Again? No pro... damnit.

Looks like Kolb getting his egg scrambled is the best thing to happen for the Eagles today. Vick's looking like the old Vick, who'd of thought?

Its a good thing Dallas and Washington are on Prime Time. I don't think I could have lived with myself if I missed *that* game.

We've been saving used car batteries for it.

Too bad our team is godawful this year. Not a single bright spot in that whole damn mess.

They were saying this morning Stafford will be out 4 to 6 weeks. So, our young "star" gets hurt for the second year in a row and we got hosed at the end. At least the D looked pretty good.

I saw that Raell. I was actually pulling for Stafford to have a good year. I really liked how he hung in there last year, especially the game he got hurt in last year.

I expected the Lions to win at least five or six games. They might be able to do that still. But I am not holding my breath.

Did I somehow hear correctly that that was actually the right call on that Lions TD pass?

Cause I saw that play a million times and I can't for the life of me justify any rule that lets that not be a touchdown.

Perhaps I'm confused.

It was the correct call after looking at it. He needs to hold it all the way through the catching process. He doesn't. He stupidly flips it up after hitting the ground. Johnson cost the Lions the game, not the refs. Technically if they were enforcing the spirit of the rule, it would have been a catch, but then the refs are in a no win situation.

By the way, go Patriots!!! 1 - 0 Patriots going to the Meadowlands to face the 0 - 1 Jets !

Leave it to a supporter of the team whose QB envelopes himself in a black and white striped skirt to throw in technicalities

Good lord I hate all teams from New England

Vick played great...just unreal. Honestly, I've never had so much fun watching the Lions lose.

Another week and still no break-away playmaker for the Browns. I can't argue that we have not upgraded at just about every position but we still lack that go-to guy on both the offense and defense.

Yeah, I was pretty happy seeing how well Vick was playing.

His reward? Back to the bench next week so we can all suffer through Kolb again. :(

**** Eagles.

Speaking of Kolb, the Packer linebacker who took him out last week plays fantasy football and so does his dad (an ex-linebacker, himself). Clay Matthews had the Packer defense, and his dad had Kolb as his QB.

Ugh, some humble pie is in order after this past week. And I was at the game on top of it... with my Curtis Martin circa 1997 Patriots jersey on. Good job Jets! Bad play Patriots. :(

In both leagues I'm in, I got spanked by Shaubb as my opponent's QB. :(

Damn you Nitefox & Chris!
