They are under the same tax structure Monte in the eyes of the government there is no difference between any non profit. They obey the same rules. One of those rules is the lack of anything political. No lobbying, no endorsing or opposing candidates.
Acorn does the above. Ergo it violates the rules hence it should lose 501c3 status.
