There's this funny thing about conjunctions and relative pronouns, particularly when they appear in subordinate phrases: the relative pronouns on both sides of the conjunction, especially "or", must refer to the same antecedent; that's called parallelism.

"... disabusing society of this notion that government is some how an "authority" or that they have any superior to obey."

In both cases, "that" refers back to "notion."

"... disabusing society of this notion that government is some how an "authority"."

"... disabusing society of this notion that they have any superior to obey."

In particular, you'll want to read that second phrase. "Society" is used without modifiers and in the lower case; as such, "society" refers to the totality of human existence. That's every person on the planet. It's "society" in the broadest sense. "They" refers back to society, but implicates the plural nature of its constituents. Taly quite literally is talking about destroying the notion of class and social hierarchy here.

To answer your question, however ...

What comes after anarchy is what the groups that form decide comes after anarchy. Human beings are fairly tribal creatures. I'm pretty certain a lot of people would die. I'm pretty certain there would be a lot of violence. And I'm pretty certain I don't know what comes after.

I have some ideas of what might what work; I have lots of ideas about what hasn't worked.

With anarchy, my quality of life would be much worse and and I don't want to fight for food. So I would prefer that the government stays. In addition, it could shut down hospitals or my health insurance provider, and if I got hurt or sick I'd be screwed.

Constant churning from the status quo to anarchy is the hallmark of a third world country... It's not a thing to aspire towards.
