The tea party as portrayed in the media doesn't represent much of America, The Tea party Ideals and principles are far more reaching than anyone wants to admit, That's why the Tea party must be demonized and belittled at ever opportunity.

I'd probably go with bullshit artist being paid to seek attention on behalf of those "fringe" elements he's decrying as "middle". Each side has them.......they holler "we aren't fringe! we are normal, average Americans!" They fool some people some of the time......so I guess it pays off.

No argument on which side Klavan's bread is butterted, but is he acutully wrong in in what he says or what he is pointing out?

Also, I wish I could have bet on Aizle not actually refuting what Klavan said and then just agreeing with someone else who also didn't refute anything either. I could have won a mint.

He's obviously not making any substantive points so much as he is telling Tea Partiers what he wants to hear, but he is nowhere near the level of sheer absurdity that Michael Moore is.

He's manipulating the information that's presented in his videos, editing footage and selectively picking data points that only bolster his biased opinions and then sensationalizing it all to be larger than it is in reality.

He's basically doing the same things that Limbaugh, Moore and many other info-tainment people do to try and get their base riled up. It's misinformation at best and outright lies at worst.

How is he doing that? His video appeared to be almost completely commentary and opinion; I didn't see any significant amount of information being presented, much less manipulated - unlike Michael Moore.

It's hard for me to tell outside the small amount of people I know. I think the average person gets their opinions from a major media outlet of their choice. (FOX/CNN/MSNBC etc) It's easy to access and they tell you directly what to think. Not that I'm super smart, but I try. I can't really regurgitate details from every thing I read though.
