My movie collection

I really think I may have an illness here. Just today I bought 14 movies, this does not include the movies I have picked up over the past few days.

I seem to have replaced my chemical dependencies with a need to buy movies. I am really beginning to think it is hitting unhealthy levels of obsession to buy these movies.

It will pass. My wife was the same way for a little while. When I pointed out to her that we owned movies that she had never even seen it got better.

Still, better to watch a flick than to snort a line.

I am that way with books. I go to the thrift stores and buy tons of them for 25 cents apiece. We live in a college town so most of the books that are donated are relatively new and not the typical romance novel crap you find in a bargain store.
I limit myself to one bookshelf, however, so I periodically get rid of books. And cry about it later.

There is no cure. *muahahaha!*

Abstinence. The only answer. Flush the movies and books down the toilet, a plumber in your area will thank you for that. Partake of natural life, Go outside, see the sun. LK, break out the sunscreen and DS, can you do that without becoming something resembling a brightly colored pork skin on the Vegas sidewalk? Last time I was there I thought I was going to dry up and be swept away by the breeze from a passing car.

Note, DS. Tattoo Sourcebook, big lots of pictures, on clearance at Barnes and Noble for about $20. http://tattoosourcebook.com/

Saw it and thought of you in the 'gee, DS would like that, wonder if he already has it?' vein.

Note: My book collection has grown to the point I don't think i could reread everything (or would want to) before the end of a normal lifespan.

I'm thinking of getting a Kindle DX nonetheless.

I have my addictions Hunting and Fishing are at the top of the list, Any day out in the field is a good day. Thankfully I bagged a limit of doves today, that makes it even better.
My newest curse though is my wife bought me a Blue ray player for birthday (I had been in no rush to get one), another money sink to bad I can't just convert all my DVDs to blue ray quality.

Have you tried Netflicks? If it's just that you need to watch all these movies, that will be cheaper and space saving at the same time.

That said, there are worse things to be obsessive about.
