An MMO set in an oldschool World of Darkness setting? I'm in. But.... if you can only be a vampire, I may not be fully in.

Steve Kenson (Green Ronin - RPG Developer - wrote most of shadowrun until SR 4th edition) at gencon this year mentioned that as White Wolf did not even have a booth this year at GenCon due to focusing on this apparently. They just had a bar on the Dealer Room Floor.

Most of the White Wolf video games have been pretty darn good, I hope this doesnt suck!

Really curious how they plan to pull this off though, from that Article, I gather its just going to be Vampire, not include Werewolf, Changeling, Exalted, etc etc... Being it is Vampire: Masquerade, Im really really curious how they plan to deal with the inner-clan feuding's such as Assamites eating all the other Vamp's.

PvP better be built in and not added in later....Assamites are all about diablerie, even if they have never diablorized someone, there aura's still are wracked with blood. They are assassin's and murder's...

Maybe they'll add them through expansion.

You can't add Exalted to a World of Darkness Game, because that'd totally blow the power curve.

Not to mention both the WoD fanbase and the Exalted fanbase pretty vocally rejected the notion of Exalted as the ancient prehistory of WoD as being stupid.

Yeah, the disparity is nowhere near the difference between Jedi and non-Jedi.

Let's put this into perspective. Imagine you were playing a D&D game, and the DM handed you the Epic-Level Handbook and told you to make a starting character at level 30. Imagine there was a feat with a level 15 prereq that made a PC completely immune to all effects requiring Fortitude and Will saves, and that the game you were playing was balanced around the assumption that all PCs have taken it.

Yes, and non-Jedi can actually kill Jedi. World of Darkness characters can't kill Exalted Characters. A Third Generation Brujah is going to LOSE a fist fight to a brand new, never played Exalted diplomat.

That's not necessarily true. Third generation vampires can have 9 or 10 dot supernatural abilities. Now, he is certainly defeatable before the Exalt is able to raise abilities and attributes above 5.

It's been cancelled. CCP bought White Wolf a while back and they haven't been able to make a go of it. From the articles I read, sounds like there was a lot of mismanagement.
