Star Trek (The Original Series) came out in 1966. Twenty-one years later, Star Trek: The Next Generation came out. That was 23 years ago.

TNG is older now than TOS was when TNG came out.

TNG came out the year after I was born.

Yeah, well TOS was canceled the year I was born.

You realize you're looking for reasons to think you're old, and you aren't even forty, yet.

I watched many episodes of the original series when they were first broadcast.

I haven't retired yet, my mom is still around and having fun, I guess I'm not all that old yet. A lot of you are really young though.

I watched all of TOS when it came out and loved it.

I would have been in 1st. Don't remember watching any of it when it first came out, but you can count me in the people who watched it so obsessively in re-runs (mid-70s) that they gambled and decided to make a movie.

I went to bed Monday night perfectly healthy. I woke up Tuesday morning with a significant neck injury that's been plaguing me for two days.

That's when you know you're old.

I felt old when my daughter told me she thought Alyssa Milano started her career with Charmed.

Wait... no... what?

Somehow we got talking about entertainment at in Mein Haus. And Charmed was on. My daughter said she wondered how Alyssa Milano had never done anything before that show.

I had to explain to my daughter that she was an actor when she was young and that she was on a show with Tony Danza called "Who's the Boss?"

And then my daughter asked who Tony Danza was.
