Great news, I loved that series. I went ahead and added Revolution to my Netflix queue but can't find Evolution.

The original Bubblegum Crisis series (8 episodes) - Bubblegum Crash was meh.

Fushigi Yugi
The Vision of Escaflowne
Tenchi Muyo - esp. the first movie (In Love)
Ghost in the Shell
Vampire Princess Miyu
Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro (Miyazaki ftw!)
The Dirty Pair (I've only seen the original series, not the 90's reboot)
Sadly, I haven't managed to stay awake for Akira
Bastard

At some point, I need to check out Yu Watase's (of Fushigi Yugi) other series Ceres Celestial Legend, since I liked the manga.

Another vote for Slayers, that's the anime that got me into anime in the first place.

Also Ranma 1/2 that Kashan mentioned is awesome too, those are probably my two favorite old school animes.
