The Glade 4.0

The most recent of these threads has fallen off to page 3 or 4 of General, so I thought I'd start one here. These threads keep popping up on a fairly regular basis in General. What would you think of just stickying one here in Entertainment? We don't have any stickies for this forum.

To contribute, here's a little Azure Ray montage (collaborative work of Maria Taylor and Orenda Fink). Their music is mostly in the "dream pop" spectrum (ex. Mazzy Star), soft, ethereal, sad, and somehow comforting. Great stuff to curl up with and fall asleep to on a rainy day.

And now for something completely different. And I do mean completely.

Android Lust is very industrial, very dark wave. About as far removed from Azure Ray as you can get. Shikhee has been described (maybe overly much) as "the female Trent Reznor", but I wouldn't really know.

"Stained"
(I'm spoilering this video because it's just all kinds of freaky. Like, "whoever watches it will DIE IN 7 DAYS!" kind of freaky)


"Dragonfly":
Still a weird-ass video, but more of a garden-variety kind of weird.


"Kingdom of One"
What little I can make out of the lyrics are quite NSFW, but the vocals are craaaaaaazy, so I kind of dig it.
