I downloaded and installed a Flash based uploader for work (Solmetra). The application works fine, unless you specify a file that's larger than 1 gigabyte. I think there is an issue with a variable overflow. The Solmetra site has the Flash application source code available for download. However when I looked inside the zip file, I was a bit lost.

Is anyone here proficient in Flash programming who can give me a few tips about how Flash organizes its files? Also, are there any Flash compilers other than Adobe?

There is something called Adobe Flash Builder apparently, although I've never used it. I've only compiled Flash using Adobe Flash.

My guess is there's probably one source file that includes the others, maybe as packages of some sort. Are there instructions on how to build it?
