It is out on DVD. I borrowed it from a friend. Don't think it's on netflix streaming yet.

It's Norwegian, so there's subtitles. But, the movie is good enough that you won't care.

Saw it before it was released theatrically (iTunes had it as one of its 'see-it-before-it-hits-theaters' movies). It was good...the ending was somewhat anticlimactic, but the bulk of the film was good, with a terrific performance from Otto Jespersen. The special effects also really were incredible (here in 2011, when special effects have progressed so far, for me to mention the special effects in a film marks them as something special). A few storytelling quirks (mainly subplots that didn't mean much or go anywhere) held it back a bit for me, but overall very good, and worth the watch.

Its good.

Didn't really like the ending because it was kind of abrupt. Other than that, entertaining flick.

Ok, that was pretty good, enjoyed it.
The teenager liked it too and he's pretty picky on movies like this, so that says a lot right there.

Watched this a couple nights ago and enjoyed it. I loved the way they worked in all the fairy tale references and while keeping the naturalism. Didn't like the actor's and script's failure to convey emotion in certain places. But the film moved on and so did I.
