Where is the public outcry?
Seriously, there should be people picketing the city and demonstrating 24/7 until the money is returned.
If no citizens complain or respond in a vocal and unrelenting way, then stuff like this will just continue to happen.

People would have to feel that this could happen to them before they'd get all up about it. It would have to threaten them personally. Without that, folks aren't engaged enough to bring change.

I'd bet that most folks would think to themselves that, "yes, it was quite a shame, but ... "Jesus"? Hmmm.... and such a large amount? It's gotta be drugs" and just go on their merry way.

That "and then they came for me..." quote immediately comes to mind.

Yawn. If that was your cash, you would do no such thing.

His father's life savings to save his home? Pretty sure he would.

Pretty sure any decent human being would.

No, he wouldn't. He'd use legal means to the maximum extent possible. If he bombed people, he'd just be shot, and he knows this. Also, your definition of "decent" needs work.

Be careful, fire works on trolls too. :neko:

It's not trolling to call you on your BS. You keep repeating what he "should" do, so you're making it relevant to the conversation. I'm just calling you out on your nonsense.

People love to be internet-heros. It's cool to sound tough.

Actually its very hard to shoot people for a single usage of a bomb with a delay or remote trigger. Namely because the person isn't present but also because its almost impossible to track the person down.

Sure he would use legal means, up until the point it became obvious they would not get anywhere and given his knowledge of interactions with the legal system this would likely be fairly early.

Of course keep providing your opinion based on what you want as an outcome without worrying about any of the forensic and investigative realities of a single bombing event.

Don't you have some free time, LK? If you really feel that way, I'll bet the brothers would appreciate some help.

Personally, I'm thinking I don't have enough information to form an opinion and not enough interest in learning more.

I don't talk about it unless I'm willing to do something about it, and the last time I did anything it was a waste of time. Not enough folks cared about the supreme court allowing personal property to be taken to further business interests, and while my senator did give me an appointment, the justices wouldn't.

Elmo are you going to grow up to be some sort of domestic terrorist or something?
I like you, but sometimes your commentary scares the heck outta me.

At which time he'd ***** and moan on the internet and bomb no one.

Pretty sure I am already grown up. Aside from that don't worry, as you continue to gain information as to how the government and politics in general work you'll grow much more comfortable with my commentary.

Quite correct, I've done nothing illegal.

Arathain I suggest you stop projecting - not everyone is like you in that they ***** and moan but never do anything about it. If you want to feel better about yourself instead of trying to convince yourself that everyone is like you I suggest you get off your *** and act to make the world a better place so you ***** about it less.

Ok. I've only been hearing it for the past 2 years.

I agree with the general premise of a lot of things you post, but all in all you seem pretty radical in your beliefs...in my perception you just seem to react a little on the extreme side.
I just worry about you. That's all. I mean, remember that guy last year who crashed his plane or something and wrote that manifesto thingy? I could see you doing that...it made perfect sense to him but everyone else thought he was nuts.

PS---I don't think you're nuts. Just headed that way in the next 10 years or so maybe. Don't shoot me.

Or bomb me.

kthx.

The guy who combed the IRS building was a raving leftist.

I would only shoot or bomb those infringing on the rights of others, so unless you do that why worry about little ole adorabalicious me?

The real irony is that when people actually do something about their beliefs, Taskiss and Arathain just ***** about that instead (see anon DDoS thread). Apparently, your opinion is only worth expressing on the internet if you punctuate it with death, ultraviolence, and major destruction of property.

They want to paint me as crazy so they can more easily dismiss me and encourage others to do so. Its still trite but its to be expected at this point.

Well, yeah, I do expect folks to not break laws when they "do something".

Nice strawman though.

Hey, at least I'm honest about it. I do what I say, and I say what I do. If I'm not willing/able to do anything about it, often I'll just complain. You may want me to go out and bomb people, but I'm not willing to do that. So yeah, there are some things I'll ***** about with no action. But at least I'm honest about it.

If I don't like what they did, then yeah, I'll ***** abou tthat too.

If Elmo went out and blew up some ****, I'd complain about that. But I wouldn't call him an internet hero. I just find it sad when people pretend their tough guys when they are just like everyone else.

Just be honest.

And I don't know what the DDOS thread is....

I think someone "checked" Arathains oil in wrestling practice. He's been acting all butthurt lately.
