Ok, so I accidentally set the wrong temperature on this ham I am roasting, and was wondering if anyone with more cooking experience than I could tell how long I need to adjust my cooking time to?

Meat Type: Ham

Weight: 8 lbs

Target Internal Temperature: 140 degrees

Supposed to be cooked at: 325 degrees for 3.5 hours

I accidentally set it at 275 degrees, with an elapsed cooking time of 1 hr 20 min.

I have since adjusted the temperature correctly, but was wondering if anyone could tell me how much more time I should cook it for?

just check it after half an hour extra, see what the temp is. From there I would check every 30 minutes.

Ok ham turned out fine. The roaster oven I got suggested 13-28 minutes per pound, which is a pretty broad range, so I settled on 25 minutes/pound. Think total cook time was 3.5 hours.

Turned out pretty darn good. LOTS of leftovers.
