when Intel and nVidia were partnering on an exclusive deal to put nVidia GPUs on-die with Intel CPUs?

I want to believe that something neat will come out of this, but considering Intel's history with IGPs, I have the distinct feeling that this will somehow wind up being the worst of both worlds.

Kind of like the cloning experiment where you combine Einstein and Denise Richards' DNA shooting for the looks of Richards with the Brains of Einstein...

I've heard a suggestion/speculation from somebody who works for Intel (albeit, on a different project) that (one of, at least) the resultant project may be targetted towards an HTC market.
