Well, it's been a good 5 or 6 years, but I did it again on the same ankle. I was out running in the desert like an illegal immigrant when my foot slipped on a loose rock. I felt rolling out but just could not get my weight off the ankle in time. This was about a mile out from my house but unfortunately no civilization around. I start limping back slowly when I see a guy out walking his dog. I managed to flag him down to get a ride back home. But yowza this sucks.

I think amputation is the only cure. After learning that my mentor performed his own vasectomy whilst smoking a cigarette, I'll probably have to do the job myself just so I don't feel like less of a man.

I knew today was going to suck when I woke up thinking it was Wednesday instead of Tuesday.

I could do the amputation without anesthesia and pain meds...That would be pretty manly :)

You're pushing too hard if you're spraining your *ankle*.

Or could just have a weak ankle. He said he's sprained that one before.

I have somewhat weak ankles. Never sprained them, but that's because I know not to push them hard at all, given how easily I can roll them.

Well, since the last sprain there were never times I felt uncertain about it once it had healed completely (although that took several months). It was just loose dirt and my shoes felt a little looser than normal. So it goes.

I'm amazed someone let you saddle-up their dog.

That sounds like a perfect first project for Glade-Deuce Films, but please, no shaky cam (or hands).
