You've never met anyone that lives by what their horoscope says every day? This is like telling them God is dead.

okay... I am still not seeing a problem in telling them that either.

If they will get that bent out of shape for that... I have a horrorscope* for them... Zombies will eat their faces, stay indoors... and away from Helicopters

Some people live their lives by the way their signs say that they should. And they believe with all their might in their horoscopes. Finding this out is like a Christian finding out that Jesus wanted everyone to have orgies on Sundays and that those who didn't are going to hell. Well, maybe not THAT bad.... but to some people this zodiac thing is a total mindf*** and undermines their long-held beliefs, especially when they realize they've been following the wrong path the whole time and instead should have been following a slightly different one.

I can at least be empathetic to that.

I can understand that part, Numbuk, even empathize with them. I guess I took the phrasing "refuse to accept the change" to mean you feel bad for them because they refuse to accept the change, not that you feel bad for them that the change occurred.
