Aw, come on! Be happy for others :p

When else other than Valentine's, birthdays, federal holidays, religious holidays or Wednesdays can guys spend money with reckless abandon in the pursuit of happiness (and ***)?

Sorry Kirra. I felt that way for so long. I've heard it called Single's Awareness Day as well. People used to tell me that you'll find someone in time. I hated when people told me that. But it ended up being true. I'm not sure what her place will be in my life down the road, but I know that after many, many years of being single and trying to find that special someone, it happened. It'll happen, but you just need to be open to it.

V'day's not so bad, you could stay at home, play games, get drunk and annoy your friends who are on dates =P

It's my yearly ritual, but this year I can't bug my friend cause she's getting married and I might get murdered >.>

Maybe for V'day this year, you could plan something nice for yourself? A spa treatment with facials, work out sessions with a super hot trainer, a long massage by a cutie with amazing hands, or get your friends together and have a stripper party.

V'day doesnt have to be about couples, it's also about getting laid... (yes boys, we're onto your evil plans)

And here I thought we were pretty open about our intentions.

V-Day is a waste of a holiday.

Do couples really need a special day to show their affection for one another? Kind of cheapens love if you ask me.

It also re-enforces my belief that singles are incredibly discriminated against. No wonder suicides peak on that day.

This isn't a holiday. It's a really pathetic day that tries to make you feel bad for either being single or if you don't buy your boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband something for this "special" day that you don't love them. What a crock of ****.

Give me a break. It's just as easy (probably easier) to hookup with someone as a single person on Valentine's day. Go to a bar and scope out chicks, probably can't walk 5 feet without spotting someone that'd go home with you just because all of their friends are busy. Not to mention the fact that you probably spend less time and money because you don't need to figure out some stupid romantic **** to fill the day with. Might as well be called free blowjob day when you're single.

Aw come on...single people don't have to cook dinner for anyone else, don't have to be home at a certain time, don't have to pick their dirty undies up off the floor, can leave the toilet seat up or down, can flirt with just about anyone they want to...I could think of a hundred things that are awesome about being single. Ya'll get single's day EVERY day!
Seriously. Enjoy it. You'll miss the freedom! ;)

Don't get me wrong, I like being single and don't feel discriminated against. That doesn't make Valentine's day any less of a crock of ****.

Kirra's dislike of Valentine's day has nothing to do with being single.

Armistice Day?

I had the same thought. Was trying to figure out how that related to being single, and in typical macabre fashion, all I could come up with was war widows.

Might be Veteran's Day 11/11

Still don't understand the reference. Except for a bunch of singles standing around together - 1 1 1 1

It's an Aussie asian thing I guess. Kinda like Beer and Bjob day... it's a personal observed day.

It's a day where you celebrate all the good things that goes with being single... not sure about that other thing though.

Hahaha, you're such a pessimist. Being single and in a relationship both have some amazing pros and some terrible cons. Just because you aren't happy being single doesn't mean there aren't people that celebrate it every day of their lives.
