A couple of other covers of previously posted tunes:

And new ones:

Mostly harmonics, until 2:00, when he just goes insane. . . . . . . . . . . . ^^^ Wait til 0:40 for the tune.

Yeah, I'm a bassist. Can't play anything like Vic. :)

This recording is a bit rough as its from a handheld camera in the audience, but its a fun cover of Here Comes the Sun.

It gets fun at about 1:30 when he starts being whacky with the on board mic in his guitar.

Phil Keaggy!

Edit to add:

Martin Tallstrom (Sweden) makes Green Day's "Good Riddance" respectable ;p

I think you might be smokin' something. They did a pretty decent cover of "Behind Blue Eyes"; the song they utterly trashed was George Michael's "Faith".

No,""Faith" was made better, but LB sucks balls no matter what they cover.

Holy crap Aizle... I do not know how I forgot about those first three. Those still rock. And that Static X cover... I like that one.

Static-X also does a really good cover of Skinny Puppy's Burning Inside, but I couldn't find it on youtube.

hrm... this is the one I found... everything I see lists it as a Ministry cover.
MetaCafe - Static X/Fear Factory Burning Inside - DBZ video

Please forgive me the Dragonball video is the only thing I could find.

For a late 80s on late 80s sandwich, last night I found Information Society doing a cover of Madonna's "Express Yourself." I like it.

Also, I was listening to their "What's On Your Mind (Pure Energy" remix as I was going through a drive-thru window just now. Here's my conversation with the guy at the window

"I love that song! .... 'tell me what's on your miiiind!'"
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah! My dad listens to it all the time."

D'oh!

Actually I just laughed and gave him a hard time about making me feel old, but it was all in jest. He tried to make me feel better by saying his dad was "26" and I just laughed some more. It actually didn't bother me at all. Which may be another sign of me getting old. Ah well. I don't mind!
