I'm currently 30 minutes in. I'm waiting for the revelation of why people are victims and not personally responsible.

So far, Coke has salt and sugar in it. High Fructose Corn Syrup is basically as bad as Sugar and both are bad for you in excess. I'm presuming the rest of it will be along these lines.

I dont think we can find anyone who doesnt know that soft drinks and heavy sugar isnt particularly healthy.

At this point he's trying to blame Nixon and I'm punching out.

FWIW, yeah you dont want to eat a lot of sugar or HFCS. But if you do, it's your own fault.

Edit to add: Didnt mean to come off harsh, so if I did dont take it that way. It's important to get this out there I just object to the victimization aspect of it. That usually leads bad places.

Dash, watch the rest of it. There is a very good explanation that even most experts did not figure out until recently.

His point was that fructose doesn't trigger the feelings of satiation so you can't actually know when you've had "too much" unless you're counting calories, and even that will not be accurate because everyone's metabolism is different.

HFCS also tells the body to store more of its intake as fat.

This information has been out for a few years now though so anyone who really cared at all about their diet would have already been aware.
