Awww.

You gave it away by telling me it had a trigger. You're bad at riddles.

I'd have settled for a "Go **** yourself".

Then you might have saved yourself a, "Please don't molest any more children."

Why couldn't you just be civil?

Bad day?

Perhaps some pre-teen goatse might cheer you up.

The truth of the matter is, you've never responded to intelligent discourse on the matters of economics, and you wholesale reject the "discussion" of politics. You don't discuss anything. You levy opinion. You render judgement.

If you'd like to be slapped around a bit, believe me, I'm your huckleberry. But first you'll have to convince me you're worth it.

I don't weigh in on economics because I generally don't feel qualified to do so, nor do I have strong opinions either way. I DO have very firm beliefs on a number of other topics which I'm happy to speak up on. And you're not even close to good or skilled enough to slap me around.

Let's be clear here Rynar.
I don't like you. I'm quite happy to put you on ignore.
But you're coming dangerously close to the textbook definition of libel.

You just owned yourself with your own example. Indeed, I think I shall keep this post bookmarked, as proof that you've no concept of what constitutes Right, Left, or Center.

In this case, I think Riov was probably just listing out people that disagree with him the majority of the time, in which case the list could probably be simplified: The Glade (126947+ posts).

This made me laugh so hard.

*shrug* well... if I'm on the left and most the board disagrees with me most of the time, wouldn't that logically imply that the board is slanted to the right?

Thank you for showing your work.

Now of my 800+ how many have been posts ridiculing others or showing contempt for pretty much everything? How many times have I made posts defending the rights of GBLT groups? How many times have I unashamedly bashed religion? Or what about those that are just simply comments on the posts already in a topic?

So much stupid **** gets said in Hellfire from some of the most intelligent people I can think of... which is the allure of this sub forum. I am not exempt from saying the stupid **** either. I am fairly convinced that when clicking into the forum our IQ is cut in half.

And...

no.

I'll simply start here.

Searching all quotes in every thread on this forum by Rynar, I've come up with exactly four in which I address you directly, using your name, TheRiov.

I'll post them all here.

It's difficult to backtrack and act the innocent revisionist when the message board preserves everything you say.

TheRiov wrote:

With this statement you have dismissed the books claims as unlikely, and in doing so have discredited the work and the author, and presented your reasoning for doing so, without ever reading the book... or even a poorly written review of the book. You are either being intellectually dishonest, or a complete moron. Choose.

You are right. Its totally unreasonable to expect people to know, minimally in a cursory manner, what the hell they are talking about before engaging in an argument or debate in which they wish to present their opinions on the subject matter. I am oh-so-sorry.

Can I make this my sig? Every time we find out you're spouting off without any expertise, can we present you with a SHUT-THE-HELL-UP card and you'll be silent? Cuz I really want to do that. Otherwise just sign off on the fact that you're a hypocritical blowhard and we can all be happy.

Can you read? Did you notice the qualifier "minimally in a cursory manner"? What do you suppose you bring to a debate when you argue from a position of complete willful ignorance and dishonesty?

I can assure you that I have some degree of expertise in everything I post about on these boards, and that I certainly never offered debate on a subject I didn't have understanding of.

Yup. sounds like a conservative to me.

Wrong forum, TheRiov. Not to mention the fact that your port is ignorant, and erroneous. Most of us who advocate an Austrian system, do so because we know how much our current model actually hurts the poor by creating a permanent underclass, and creating racial preferences in hiring actually institutionalizes racial strife. The list of these sorts of grievances is lengthy.

Socialism actually hurts the poor more than anyone else, because when you discourage wealth creation, those who have the least are hurt the most. When food prices rise, it is their children who go hungry. When fuel prices rise, it is they who can't heat their homes.

Conservatism has the benefit of a forward thinking compassion. Given that, it would seem to me that if one really cared, they would want to actually help, instead of simply doing things that make them feel good about themselves, or the even lazier, doing nothing more than holding opinions that make them feel good about themselves.

Come play with me.

I don't honestly care about you enough to bother generating a "like or dislike" feeling about you. I've honestly never thought about you enough, in a cumulative sense, to bring myself to the point of bothered either way. If I had to assess it now, I'd have to catagorize you as, "silly for becoming so invested".
As to the last: Come bring suit.

OR...

Oh wait... it is all about the thread in which you accused me of doing something lousey when it turned out you had been the one to solicit the whole encounter yourself? This thread?

Again, I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Quote:

Still not following, other than to say anyone who could be used as a witness in any sex with a minor is a co-conspiritor at this point, unless they are serving as a State's Witness. I wouldn't go so far as to say there were witnesses, unless you've just admitted that there were.

Bolded parts are my main response points...
Quote:

I did not accuse you of a any sex crimes with a minor, so kindly keep me the **** out of that argument. Several people were lumped in as racist by you because of the observation that black people tend to be louder in the theater. (one of them a black person BTW... what a god damned race traitor he must be huh?)

Quote:
racism as we proved is subjective. Child molestation is not

I did not accuse you of a any sex crimes with a minor, so kindly keep me the **** out of that argument. And Racism is not subjective, there is a definition. You cannot cut up the definition into pieces so that it fits your views.

Quote:
C) I can provide witnesses to racist opinions voiced a racist opinion here. Find someone who has seen me commit a sex crime against a minor.

I did not accuse you of a any sex crimes with a minor, so kindly keep me the **** out of that argument. And you can provide witnesses to the fact that you perceived an observation made by several people as racist, to which you were refuted and were unable to give anything other than a feeling that it racism was present.

or to put it this way:
Dude, I do not give a **** about any sex crime accusations (I seem to have missed the boat on that discussion repeatedly, the only thing I can see where you mentioned anything like that was a teacher in your daughters school being charged); I am merely stating that labeling people as racist when they are not is defamation of character.

and one more time... with feeling: I did not accuse you of a any sex crimes with a minor, so kindly keep me the **** out of that argument.

oh.. and for even remotely involving me in an argument about that... May you get a horrible case of singles that start at the head of your junk and go all the way to your *******.

Not sure what to tell you there. You're asking him to tell you why he thinks you lean toward the right. That's my high level assessment of your political leanings as well, although I do believe you're more reasonable than most here on the boards. Why do I believe that? The fast answer is "based on many years of your posting history". I've frankly forgotten many of those posts, but recall the bucket that I put you in (fairly or unfairly) each time. Were I to really want to press home why, it would require a fair bit of post farming to come up with the examples.

I guess I've misjudged you, Aizle.

Well, this is entirely unsurprising:

The Blaze wrote:
When undercover video like the NPR story first surfaces, we often look to see if there is raw video of the material used to produce the report as a basis for evaluating the accuracy of the representations made. And we decided to do that in this case.

The Blaze’s Pam Key, who produces most of our original videos, is experienced in reviewing hours and hours of raw audio/video to find key sections that can then be used in proper context. Her review of the NPR exposé identifies a number of areas to examine.

1. Muslim Brotherhood Connections

Much of the consternation over this video centers on the question of why would NPR executives meet with a group connected to Muslim Brotherhood. Did they know? And if Muslim Brotherhood is mentioned, how are the ties characterized? Is the edited video misleading on these points?

...The edited video includes a reference to some of the original founders of MEAC being members of the Muslim Brotherhood in America. Is this the only reference and basis for the NPR execs to consider MEAC to have a Muslim Brotherhood connection? The raw video also includes a longer section of description that seems to downplay connections of the MEAC group to the Muslim Brotherhood as popularly perceived.

2. Does Ron Schiller react to “Sharia” mission statement with amusement?

So after saying that the MEAC website advocates the “acceptance of Sharia,” the video cuts to the NPR exec saying, “Really? That’s what they said?” The cadence is jovial and upbeat and the narration moves on. The implication is that the NPR exec is aware and perhaps amused or approving of the MEAC mission statement. But when you look at the raw video you realize he was actually recounting an unrelated and innocuous issue about confusion over names in the restaurant reservation.

3. How does Schiller describe Republicans?

Schiller’s negative comments about Republicans and conservatives have gotten a great deal of attention....But you may be surprised to learn, that in the raw video, Schiller also speaks positively about the GOP. He expresses pride in his own Republican heritage and his belief in fiscal conservatism.

4. The “seriously racist” Tea Party

NPR exec Ron Schiller does describe Tea Party members as “xenophobic…seriously racist people”....But the clip in the edited video implies Schiller is giving simply his own analysis of the Tea Party. He does do that in part, but the raw video reveals that he is largely recounting the views expressed to him by two top Republicans, one a former ambassador, who admitted to him that they voted for Obama.

5. Are liberals more educated than conservatives?

You may also have seen a section of the video where Schiller describes liberals as more educated than conservatives. But the raw video shows a section where Schiller is hesitant to criticize the education of conservatives and the other executive, Betsy Liley, is outspoken in her defense of the intellects of Fox News viewers....The impression of the original video, that the execs were only hostile toward Republicans and conservatives, is incorrect.

In short, Schiller said some things he shouldn't have, but O'Keefe once again edited the video in a misleading way to remove the context and make Schiller's comments look much worse than they were. Someone really needs to sue this guy hard.

That just goes beyond the pale. If you characterized it accurately, RD, them this is beyond "editing for effect", it's outright fraud. This is nothing like the ACORN video, where only the non-essential bits were edited out; this is active manipulation of content and meaning.

I had to look up what The Blaze was too, it's a Glenn Beck website.
