Let it all collapse so that it can spring again anew and people who don't think have been killed off and ones who survive know enough to rely on their own judgment and understand that law is not justice. Let those prosecutors starve in the streets and be nibbled by rats as they die - rats are what they eat after all. Let the judges be flogged by those they have wronged while the scream and complain that actual justice is enforced.

I don't even care if I don't survive it at this point - it just all needs to go away with its injustice. The injustices are too great to suffer anymore. Reboot the system just like we did to England's. Hopefully the people who design the new one can put better safeguards so liberty lasts more than 150 or so years.

Didn't this guy circulate his atlernate currency as US Tender? I only read it briefly but he passed them in several states as actual dollars no? If he had the consent of the person accepting the monies then this is BS.

He never claimed they were backed by the US or that they were "coins". In fact he got the blessing of the treasury to do this before.

The collapse isn't going to happen, unless we get multiple 9.0 earthquakes with massive tsunamis and yellowstone exploding again, and possibly some dirty bomb incidents or more towers collapsing. And mad cow disease.

Every day, but if the dollar died for real people would invent a new currency since people still want to trade.

Except inventing a new currency would likely get you tossed in jail for violating legal tender laws - since the dollar is mandated acceptance.

You could barter though - how many chickens will verizon take for your phone bill - and how many chickens do you have - and how do you pay your chickens to verizon online?

This is a stupid discussion and it's like talking about whether you should hide underground if God is going to smite you.

Why is it only stupid once you start realizing that the collapse of the dollar is going to seriously affect you, all commerce, and thus all economic factors?

The Chinese Yuan only gained 26% on the dollar since 2005. I don't see why you think this means collapse.

The Yuan is also an artificially controlled currency that's held well below market values.
